World-renowned Oncologist Visits Dublin 2013

MTCI was delighted to host Dr Dennis Slamon's visit to Dublin in February of this year. Dr Slamon is one of the foremost cancer researchers in the world today and is particularly recognised for his pioneering work in breast cancer, which paved the way for the development of trastuzumab (Herceptin), a drug which has transformed the treatment for many patients with breast cancer.

Public Lecture with Dr Dennis Slamon

MTCI had the great pleasure in hosting Dr Slamon at Trinity College on the evening of Thursday, February 28th. Dr Slamon gave a public lecture to over 150 guests at the JM Synge Lecture Theatre. The lecture was hugely successful, and we thank everyone who was able to join us on the night.
